You guys have to listen to this, its called holophonic sound. It goes around your head under and over.

YOU NEED HEADPHONES! SPEAKERS WILL NOT WORK. Please dont reply to this thread calling the sound stupid if you did not try it with headphones.

They've studied those effects for a long time. It's nothing new, but I've yet to see it succesfully incorporated into games which would be really cool.

That is awesome. I was kind of freaked out by that, it really soounded like someone was shaking a box of matches right behind my head. Cool stuff.

Nah. It's pretty cool. I was looking to my side a couple of times myself. I think that's amazing.

Yeah if it was incorporated into games doom, fear etc would be scary as ****. It's very hard to generate that kind of stuff on the spot though, it's a very complex process to make it.

I don't even think it sounds right with 5.1 surround sound.
If it just sounded like its going left and right, try headphones. The thing is, its going up and down around you.
