I have a chance to pick up a home made SVO. The motor was from a turbo chicken the frame is a 4cyl hatch....it has a svo computer....the motor has a crane cam doesnt appear to smoke an runs good. the 8.8 rear end swap has been done also with a set of i want to say 373 he said he had UCA'S and LCA'S that went on too...of course it has a MBC pushing 15psi. he was talking about 3" DP being put on dont know if it ever got that far. the only other thing i can think of is it has a pro 5.0 shifter. he wants 1,500 hundred for it...when i test run it im gonna make my decision then.

It's not dead, you just didn't ask any questions so you go no answers...

Oh, and it's not a home made SVO...it's a turbocharged hatchback mustang.

Can you feel the hostility? Don't show any fear, or they'll attack...

What???

If you are saying his car looks like an SVO...I don't know how it could...it should look just like every other 87-93 Mustang LX.

SVO Convertable

In the August 2003 issue of Mustang Monthly, there was an article on a 1987 convertible owned by Rod Allen from Lexington Kentucky. The car was hit by a drunk so the car was repainted to a different color and a GT ground effects and front and rear bumper covers put on. A wrecked 1986 SVO with 24,900 miles was used to convert the 1987 LX to SVO specs using the SVO motor and suspension. The guy had Saleen make him a cover for the rear seat for a speedster look. The interesting part of the car is that it has an SVO hood scoop, but it's a 1987-1993 hood. I have the article so ask if you want more info.

normally people will jump in and either knock it or say go for it.....but anyway....i bought the car it has horrible 4.10's which are coming out for 3.55's asap. it holds about 18psi....and runs strong....just doing some research...when i get my check in im gonna upgrade to a log style manifold and buy a ported and polished intake upper/lower volvo IC stinger 3" exhaust. and that will be it till i re-build it this winter. i cant wait to get the 3.55's on it has a strong power band but as soon as it gets rolling its redlined..........

There's a lot more different things than that.
