I will be doing a swap on my mustang here in the next couple months and I was wondering what I would be able to find under the stock hood?

I know that I a stock 5.0 will fit just fine I was looking down the road. My ultimate goal would be to swap something like a 363 into it. Greedy I know but that would give me what I want aka around 500 HP NA DD. Would something like that be able to fit inside there under a stock hood or would I need a cowl? If so what size do you think would I need if I wanted to stay with fuel injection?

A 363 is made from a .100 overbored 8.2 deck height dart 302 block. It is the same physical size as a stock 302. What will change how it fits under the hood is what intake/induction you decide to use.. unless you are using some crazy spacer on your intake, most setups fit no problem with what you have.

Thanks man. Been a bod motor guy for quite some time so I am new to all this. I want something different for this build.

Got another question do you know where I can find a bell housing for the t3650 I have in my 04gt or do you think I would be better off finding a t5? Is the t5 even worth buying used?

I can't say I've ever heard of a 3650 behind a 302. In fact, if memory serves, the case on a 3650 has an integral bell housing that would make it impossible to use, or at least impractical to adapt. If I'm off on that maybe someone will chime in, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.
