Hood pins: Yes or No??? (PICS)

Here is how may car looks with hood pins, but I am getting a cobra r hood, so I have to decide to keep them or not use them. I personally think i like them, but there is no turning back once the hole is drilled.

Personally, I wouldn't run an aftermarket hood without them.

I have had these ford racing hood pins for about a year now and I see no way that they could scratch your paint. It is impossible for them to touch anything other than the plate.

I am just asking for the "looks" point of view!!

YES YES YES.... Just when i finished the looks of my car, i was no more then a block away from my house when my hood slammed up against my windshield and i smacked a telephone pole...

Now that the car is back in 1 piece, it is getting painted right now. I will NEVER drive in a mustang with a fiberglass hoood and no pins EVER again.. Ive deffinately become traumitized.... do yourself a big favor and use pins!

i was worried too, but it is really easy. Just keep in mind that the hood pivots, it doesn't go straight down, therefore have the pin toward the edge of the hole a bit, so when the hood is all the way down it will be in the center. Also, that kit came with metal pieces for the bottom of the hood, but I didn't use them or the wires.
