Hood question

Im building a pro street 74 mustang the guy I got it from said it had a later model front end? I need to replace the hood what is the deference in a 74 75 76 77 78 hood how can I tell what year the hood I have is?

The 74 hood and header panel are one year only parts. The 74 header panel was 4-5 inches across at the top where the "F O R D" letters were and the hood is almost straight across from fender to fender. In 75 they changed the front core support and pushed the radiator out to make room for the 302 and its larger radiator. 75-78 parts are all basicly the same with the header panel being narrow ao the top and the hood being lengthened along the front edge.
