Hood scoop?

If you were going to do the black like 69 Mach 1s had - black that went almost to the front and side edges of the hood with a thin black line around the edge of the black hood, I would say go for it.

I would probably make the black stop on the hood too though, unlike the machs that had the black go all the way back to the windshield, I would continue the red with a thin black stripe border all the way around the hood.

I think if the hood was yellow and the scoop black that would be but black hood and yellow scoop :sick:

The blacked out hood was painted a flat non-gloss black to absorb light and reduce glare. It has a function, not just for looks.
