what's the deal with the hood shaking at high speeds. It almost seems like it wants to come flying off. Is there a remedy or is it something we have to deal with? The glovebox door seems like it wants to fly open too. Has anyone noticed that. I have a 2006. Thanks.

SERIOUS HOOD SHAKING GOING ON HERE TOO!!!!!
Seems like you get over about 115 and the hood wants to stay back with whatever you just passed if you follow my drift. Scares the bahebeegeebees out of me but it hasn't gone yet and the ghost has made it to 130+. I am also too afraid to look down at the speedo too much going that fast especially when the hood is shaking like a child at his first horror house.

Mine shakes also, even at interstate speeds. It's worse when I pass a big rig or a large truck. It's just cause the hoods aluminum and it's thin metal. Doesn't bother me.

The front of our cars are basically walls. They aren't very aerodynamic. Air gets trapped underneath and makes it shake. You can adjust the little rubber stops by twisting them to either raise or lower the hood a inch or so to try to help remedy the problem.

Thanks for the valuable info. I thought the hood was just going to fly off. I had to let up and let MOPAR BOY have his fun. I'll be ready next time.
