hooker headers and flowmaster exhaust

I know I've been wearing this posting thing out lately the last few days but its been a lot of help, thanks.

Anyway I have hooker comp headers and went to put on my flowmaster 40 exhaust yesterday and they don't match up, of course. The headers are wider than the flowmaster's h pipe. Anybody else have this problem, anybody fix this problem?

I have the same setup as you do but I never encountered the problem becasue I got a muffler shop to do it for me, mainly because I can't weld and don't have a lift.

Not too surprised.
I would cut the H pipe, and mount them up.
then you could take it down to a muffler shop and they could just put a sleeve on the H pipe,(or do it yourself). Good to go
