Hooker Headers

I live in Los Angeles and I am fully aware that Hooker Headers along with the O/R X are VERY illegal here, BUT I don' care I just had a few questions and any answers will be very helpful. I have a 97 GT Auto, will these fit Autos? I also am planning on doing the PI Headswap later on, will the headers still fit? Are these headers any good? I hear they are MUCH easier to install than other Long Tubes, is this true? About the whole emissions thing, I'm planning on putting some hollowed out Cats on the X Pipe so if a cop decides to look under my car They will think I have the cats, it works for my friend, it should work for me too. When I go for smog checks I know a place where the guys there will take a little bit of $$$ to pass me.
