This might get moved to another location but thought yall might want to know about this.
This is a music website that lets you create your own "radio station", by plugging in songs and artists that you like. I have been rockin it for about a year and never thought to clue in anybody other than personal friends. Basically it lets you listen to new music that you like, but didn't know existed--by matching and comparing to music that you know you already like. Here in Houston, radio really sucks.
Seriously though, the best use of the internet I have found so far. Other than ****.

Maybe everybody knows about this or something like it???? They should.

I used it at work til it was blocked. Great idea as it learns your likes and dislikes and introduced me to some great new bands!

I remember it used to work and I used to use it. But, it really sucks that it doesn't anymore.

It was actually quite nice today , prolly around 70 degrees.

You're welcome. It's the least I can do.
I am probably connected to Pandora for 12 hours a day. I listen to music while I do anything.

Keep this in mind when making your stations: A song seed is going to be more precise than an artist seed. And the more thumbs up and down that you give really fine tunes the whole process. You can always add song seeds after the station has been created.
Just out of curiosity, those of you who dig it, what kind of music do you listen to?

i'm mostly into reggae/ska/skinhead reggae... i've also got stations for the Grateful Dead, a **** load of gangsta rap, jazz, and even like, late 80's-early 90's so cal punk rock like the Descendents and all those guys.

I thought Pandora would be crap, but it does an excellent job finding songs and artists that I have enjoyed thus far. Thanks for the recomendation! Hopefully I can find other bands to listen to besides the four I rotate.
