Hey everyone, just trying to alleviate some fears. On the way to work this morning went to shift and heard a pop. Clutch pedal went straight to the floor. THe car was in gear so I drove it up into a parking lot and cut it.
Looked underneath and the cable was still attached to the clutch fork, and it was still attached to the quadrent at the pedal. But it was sorta bunched up a little behind the quadrent. I'm hoping that it just broke somewhere in the middle.
Is there anything else that could cause the clutch fork to become sloppy? I grabbed the lower part of the cable jacket and moved it back and forth and the fork moved a little with it. Since it stayed in gear I'm assuming the pressure plate and TB should be ok. Just stressing cause I'm in summer school and leaving for OCS again in like a month.
Any thoughts? Thanks guys
