horn

Dude, mine is right between both of yours! Not quite as high-pitched as the first one but not as deep as the second. Like I said in my earlier post, I'm thinking one of the horns is not working because there are 2 horns under the car. A normal American made car horn is a combination of 2 horns of a different pitch, harmonizing together to make the normal get out of my way sound. But when only one horn is working, you only get the single pitch sound. I agree, we have to fix this or never honk our horns or push the lock button twice! :rlaugh:

Seeing the horn in an actual mustang.. makes me want it even more

This is great! Mustang Mexican Horn - YouTube

Was out drinking one night with a few friends. We decided it was a great idea to take my buddy's El Camino. Out of nowhere, on the way home, he hits the horn and that plays, in a dead quiet neighborhood at like 2am. I nearly died, along with the other 2 in the bed. It fits perfect.

Fixed my horn today. I took one of the horns off and hooked it up to a 12V battery and found out it was bad. So went to O'Reilly's and picked up a Wolo Full Blast horn for $16. They have high-tone and low-tone horns. I got the low-tone since the one that was working in my car was the high tone. Crawled back under the car, mounted it up, connected the wiring, and done. Now I have a normal sounding horn again! :D No more (beep! beep!)
