horsepower estimate

my mods will be the following and the car is apart for now waiting on the heads so humor me here!

-Bone stock shortblock
-GT-40 Stock Iron Heads
-Trickflow Street Heat Intake
-FMS 1.72 roller rockers
-stock cam
-mac longtubes, o/r x pipe, w chambers w/dumps
-70mm throttle body
-mac underdrive pulleys and mac cai
-stock maf, injectors

im guessing 260 to the wheels.

I think your guess is about right. you might as well throw a cam in there while you have it apart. it will definetly be worth it to do it now rather than later! but that is up to you and depends on your plans for the car.

Edit: those are some damn nice times for your current mods! you must be one hell of a driver!

my times would have been a lot better if my stock clutch could have held a better launch on the bfg's. i

Maybe 250rwhp. You're changing the valve springs too, right?

the valve springs that come with heads are good for a .550 lift. they are rebuilt gt-40's

i would say between 260-280 tops
