my console get HOT after a while, maybe the exhaust is too close to the floor or something. if you rest your arm on the console, right where your drink would go, its hot. anyone else have the problem. i am thinking that some dynamat extreme would help...

A lot of people have complaigned about it getting out on other forums. So it's not uncommon. I noticed mine gets a little warm on long trips. Nothing a little Dynomat wouldn't fix. It doesn't get any warmer than my old Dodge Dakota did, which got really hot while towing.

i checked that out already, i took the boot off to see how hard it would be to fab up a gate style shifter bezel.....looks ok. and the bexel doesnt look good unless you can adjust some of the play out of the shifter when it is in gear. the slots would have to be big, or you would wear out the sides of it.....

The tranmission and shifter rotate with engine torque, so a gate type shifter cant really be made tight enough to be functional. If you want to get rid of the slop and make the shifting more precise get a Steeda shifter.
