My IAC is at 120*, super hot to the touch. Put a multimeter on the plug and it's reading 12v. I chased all the wires and everything looked to be fine..no touching wires.

Is this thing grounding out?

Car starts and runs only for 5 sec and shuts down, I was trouble shooting a tps voltage issue when i found this.
TPS volts read .05v at idle and a sad .10 at wot. WTF.
I am unable to set the tps to .98 at this time. If i disconnect the main harness at the firewall i get 5v to the tps while i am still at idle not WOT. I have tried tracing the wires to the AEM, and all the way to the tps and found no issues.

I know i have a wiring issue, but was wondering if you guys had any ideas!
Thanks in advance!

for the IAC - disconnected, what is the ohms reading between the terminals on the IAC?? what is the ohms reading between each terminal and the case??

TPS - disconnected, what is the voltage on the BR/W wire and battery ground?? if 5volts, run a voltage drop test on groung circuit at TPS (GY/R wire).

to check for ground:

Voltage drop test -
set meter on 2v scale,
disconnect TPS connector
place RED lead on TPS ground and BLACK lead on NEG battery terminal.
Turn key to RUN.
max reading should be no more than 0.05v.
if higher you have resistance in ground circuit.
check and clean ground connections.
