Probably written by a (Ford) car salesman.

"They're only making them for one year, you know. Yep, and all 3,000 are spoken for."

First the Dodge Viper did not recreate the excitement-

Most experts put that on the 87 fox body-

so many errors so little time- what a crack head article

"I can't comment on future products," he said. "But the Mustang GT is 300 horsepower in the mid-$20,000 range. We have the GT 500 with 500 horsepower at $43,000. There's a lot of room between the two."

THAT is an interesting statement. How about a 400hp N/A, aluminum blocked 5.4 OR high-reving 5.0 cammer?

How come all these writer "experts" somehow forget that younger people get older and their tastes, desires and their ability to afford a better vehicle all change as they age.

Does this idiot actually think that somone who is 20 years old today and drives a Civic is going to want to still be driving a Civic or other econobox 30 years from now when they are 50 years old?

This article has been written many times before over the last 50 years.

You can't believe anything that comes from the Dallas Morning news. If you can get 20mpg with a 500hp car " Where's the problem!!!!!!!!" Just because a person is retiring doesn't mean he or she will never buy another car! Those were lame reasons why the muscle car era will die.
