Welp, the car is finally back together, but some tuning issues seem to be showing their ugly faces.
1. The car is having a hot start problem, which sucks because basically any trip over a couple miles, I have to let the car cool down a lot.
2. There seems to be a detonation problem in any gear over 3500 rpm's or when I try to accelerate slowly in o/d. Timing is at 9* base while running 93 octane.
3. Before the detonation problem came about, at 4500 rpm's the car seemed to loose total spark...almost the feeling of a rev limiter.
The only thing that is new in combo is that the block was .030 over and Probe dome pistons are in there now...along with the cam. I know the car needs something in the form of computer tuning, but besides that, are there any other things would help with the problems? No check engine lights have come on either...but I havent had a chance to run the codes yet since my scanner is at home.
