This weekend I will be dropping off my car to get painted HotRod Black. I have been driving around for the past 6 years with it just in black primer. However over the years even though I keep it indoors the color has faded. (Attached is a picture of when it was freshly painted.) I have read many threads about Flat Black, so I will post a picture when I get it back.

I really like it, I wanted to do mine in a flat. The problem was the booth I was using was to dirty. No matter how much I cleaned I still got crap in the paint, which is fine with BC/CC when you are going to wet sand anyways.

Sorry for the confusion. My first post with the picture was when teh car was primer. The second picture was this weekend before I brought it over to be painter Hot Rod Black. When I get it back I'll post pictures of the car in Hot Rod Black.

Ok, I'm getting close. Here's a picture from last night (Tuesday). Paint is complete. I will be picking it up on Friday due to the weather. I have not seen it live yet, due to the fact thay just finished it and it was still wet so I could not go in the booth. Maybe I'll go before Friday. ;)

Stay Away from TCP Global - Hot Hod Flatz...
I had my car painted by a professional body shop that does outstanding work and they had issues spraying Hot Rod Flatz. As I now find out on many google searches people have had simular issues with there paint turing out blochy. The place I went to had to respray it with a black topcost and then clear it with a flat clear coat.

Not really happy because it cost me $200 in Flatz paint plus extra time in the body shop.
