my 89 saleen is gonna be do for DEQ in a little over 2 months. i am worried about getting it through DEQ it has no cats, i have a stock h pipe with cats from a 91 GT. will that fit correctly on my saleen and hook up to my saleen headers. also im not so sure my car will pass even with the cats put on??? if anyone who has been through this before has advice i would appreciate it. i have also considered getting my car registered through pine hollow where my friend lives and they dont have to go through DEQ!

If you get stuck, call Jeff at All Ford (360-993-1740). We do DEQ tunes there, usually consisting of installing cats and a few tricks to make it pass. After it passes we put it back to how you brought it in. I have yet to see a car pass DEQ without cats.

It depends on how much work it takes to get it to pass. Stop by and see us some time.

With good cats and a good state of tune on almost any car you can pass an emissions test. Make sure the car has a recent tune-up and has the cats and you'll most likely do fine.

And yes, the cat-pipe will bolt right up.

EDIT: I read your mods and I wouldn't even sweat passing the test with that stock h-pipe on the car.

Ryan take your car to Jeff. Next to Albert, Jeff is the closest thing to a Guiness

btw, your Saleen headers are either Motorsport or the stock unit which are no different then any other 87-93 V8 car.
