How are the Strange struts an shocks

I just put them on my car last week... I haven't had a good chance to play around with them all that much... Just to clariffy something... they are adjustable but they adjust an even amount of in and out pressure, i was sorta hoping they would adjust from like 90/10 to 70/30 etc but they don't... (more like a week 50/50 to a strong 50/50 if that makes sence)

I have them set up for drag racing right now but im thinking about changing them over to the road racing setup and see how she feels...

yes there is a little nob you just turn.

I figured i would post this to show you what your dealling with...
Control knob
Full counter-clockwise is position one. (Large tab at twelve o’clock position)
Compression and extension dampening are at the minimum setting. (Softest)
As the knob is rotated clockwise, both the extension and compression
dampening increase. (Become stiffer)


Recommended starting point

Front struts:
Drag race- Turn to position 2 or 3
To increase weight transfer, rotate counter-clockwise.
Street- Turn to position 4 or 5.
For firmer ride, rotate clockwise.
Road race- Turn to position 7 or 8
For firmer ride, rotate clockwise.

Rear shocks:
Drag race- Turn to position 5
To plant the tires harder, rotate counter-clockwise.
To decrease “wheel-hop”, rotate clockwise.
Street- Turn to position 4 or 5.
For firmer ride, rotate clockwise.
Road race- Turn to position 7 or 8.
For firmer ride, rotate clockwise.

And i plan on switching mine over sometime soon and will let you know...

I have the front struts on my 95. it's pretty easy.. the knob is at the bottom so you have to lay on the ground to adjust but other than that you have ten clicks. I believe all the way in is tight, all the way out is full loose.. there is a huge difference between full loose and full tight. you can really dial these in for a lot of different situations.. At full tight I couldn't hardly pull the strut down by hand. at full loose or drag it slid down pretty easy. For the price I think you will be happy.. On the street with eibach pro kit springs I set them at full tight then backed them out four clicks.. seemed pretty good.

whats the difference between a shock and a strut?

bringing this back for more input, also jegs it shows struts and shocks, different prices. whats the difference is one for the front and other rear? which is which.

I've had my shocks for over a year and no issue's with them. Work well for the money.
