Anybody have any experience with these kits?

D.S.S. Rotating kit

Was going to originally get a Fordstokers shortblock, but after reviewing my budget I might end up running a stock block 347 built by a local shop, so I'm poking around at my options.

Thanks!

Woody at Ford Strokers seems like a stand-up guy. I'd be hesitant to buy a DSS product over what he sells. Have you looked at his do-it-yourself stroker kits?

Yeah I have, and for the price difference I would just get a basic short block from him. Which is probably what I should do anyway, but every time I am on his site I keep checking off boxes and can't stop!

All I can add is I run a DSS 306 probullet long block with afr 185 heads , lower end girdle and scrapper .... when I ordered then engine the gave me a choice of a few different builders and gave me there resumes.. then the one I picked called me and we went over everything I had done so far and what I was looking to do and came up with a plan then as the builder built the motor he would call and see if I wanted to up grade things such as cam and heads , springs etc... I must say I am very happy with the engine and with 14 lbs of boost through the procharger it is very strong I have no complaints.

Agreed, I searched for a long time for a good lower budget shortblock, i opted for the DSS Pro Bullet 331 Stroker and no complaints at all.Forged DSS Pro X pistons, Forged Polished I beam rods and Nodular Iron Crankshaft. Im also running there Windage tray and main girdle as well as 7 qt oil pan. Im happy with DSS, they had great customer service and they have a payment plan!!!
