My stock alternator is going at the moment and I know I will need a new one for my new engine next year, and I want to upgrade right now. I am looking at the PA alternators should I go with the 95 amp or the 130 amp? I know you need a larger alternator for mods like a larger fuel pump and underdrive pullies which I will have (a 255 fuel pump and under drive pullies will be used). theres a 30 dollar difference between the two, which do you think I should go with? I wont have a high powered system either, what do you guys think?

thanks in advance

for the minimal price difference, personally i would go with a true 3G (or 6G 130 amp unit. that way if you do decide to get a system, elec fan, etc, you can and not sweat it.

good luck.

I dont think fuel pump really makes a difference with the alternator. Big things are electric fan and stereo system. If underdriver pulley's create a problem, you can just leave the pulley off. If your looking for more juice though, get the 130.
