I have a 95 Mustang 3.8 Original but I put a new 5.0 Engine carburated, but now my engine is getting too hot... and also the carburato is too close to the hood isolation ... should I put a hood scoop there to make the carburator breathe easier....
I think that an oil cooler, transmission cooler and a hood scoop should do the trick ... but if anyone has any ideas for me I really apreciated...

#1, if you dont already, get a good autometer temp gauge so you can see EXACTLY what the temp is, sometimes stock gauge is not very accurate.

Otherwise, I would say Fluidyne or Summit radiator, 180 tstat, good flush and fill of coolant, if its not too cold where you are at go 70/30 Water to Coolant. Some guys have good luck with the redline water wetter. Um, manual fan switch, or tweecer to override what temps the fan normally comes on. Also, in my experience, if you are running underdrive pullies, they are not helping matters any.

The larger AL radiator and a 180* stat will take care of ALL that...no need for This cooler or That cooler.

If that will take awhile, you can do a REALLY GOOD flush for now, use a 50/50 mix instead of 70/30 (that's what I use in the heat of S FL) and a bottle of watter wetter. Our cars are at the age where those radiators just arent cutting it anymore, especially when you start beefing up the engines.
