Ok, so in another thread I mentioned I just got my hands on a stone stock '93 LX 4banger. How can I pick up some hp without spending much money? I know on the 5.0's you can remove the air silencer, bump the timing, etc. What can I do to this little beast? Thanks!
The 2.3's just don't respond to bolt-ons. You can do the usual cold air intake, exhaust, etc...but you won't notice much of a difference for your dollars spent.
By "cheap"I mean like scrooge at Christmas. I was wondering if there was an air silencer like on the 5.0 or if removing the screen in front of the MAF would help.
