How do i modify my crossmember to fit a TKO600?

My current transmission is out of comission right now. And i really want to fix it, but i want to upgrade to the tko600. Problem is, though, i dont know how to modify the crossmember to do this, can any of you help me out with this???

Search on here and the corral. I JUST made a thread on both sites about it with lots of useful information.


I ended up rotating the crossmember 180* and extending the tranny mount holes in the cross member a tad toward the front of the car. Once you get the tranny up and the cross member in...you will see what has to be done.

Oh yea, i suggest to index the bellhousing. It can be searched too. Paul(killercanary) made posts about this. You put a dial indicator on the flywheel...turn the engine over and check the "runout".

Yea i forgot all about that. I didnt since i already had a poly mount and didnt want to waste it. But if i were to do it over, i would get the offset one.
