Yes the M112 could support 500rwhp but at what boost level and efficiency ???
What difference does it make....500hp is 500hp. Don't think that a comparably sized twin screw isn't running beyond it's rated efficiency range trying to support those power levels either. Yes, the Twin Screw blower will show measurably higher peek efficiency, but that's not to say the M112 won't perform well in comparison. If you want to get technical, the ACT's under vacuum and low boost levels are actually lower with the Eaton than they are with the Twin Screw. Why do you think Kenne Bell only shows ACT comparisons at 6psi and above?

That internal compression system may be great for reducing leak down, but it does have its draw backs. Heating the air charge at all times is one of them. Unless you're running a physically larger Twin Screw, or really pushing the two blowers to their limits, you're not going to notice a huge advantage from one to the other.
And for your information, there is no 2V kit using the M112, they all use the M90.
Really....damn. I hope nobody told Ford Racing this. They'd have to recall all of their FRPP kits to remove those silly M112's they cast into their manifolds and replace them with M90's so it won't screw up the accuracy of your statement.
If people pay up to 3x more for a twin screw there must be a reason
Twin Screw are the superior form of Positive Displacement blower from a power making standpoint....there is no question, but in a custom application where bang for the buck is concerned all bets are off. Let me ask you...if your building a totally custom set up and your goal is making great power while still keeping the stock 2V bottom end together, are you really that much further ahead spending 3-times the price on a used twin screw blower (assuming you're able to even find a compressor unit on it's own) when the same results can be accomplish with a much less expensive Eaton?
You should just read more about real eaton-to-twin screw swapsp and realize what is really going on (dyno charts, 1/4 mi numbers...). Some had eaton blower and think they're the best, I had one too... when I swapped the KB, it was a totally different car, a different world. Not something you'd feel with just a pulley swapp....
Yeah, yeah.....back to the old KB argument. Gotta love KB's objective comparisons. Stacking up their kit, with a physically larger displacement Twin Screw compressor, dyno tested on race fuel with excessive amounts of timing on an ice cold engine.....and to top it off comparing boost figures (which are irrelevant when you consider the fact that the characteristics between both kits are completely different) to SAE Factory corrected numbers of the M112 on the '03-'04 Cobra's....it's certainly a fair comparison.
Let's get one thing strait. I'm well aware that Eaton’s aren't "the best" supercharger available from a power making standpoint. But they're cheap, reliable, durable and on top of that their no where near as anemic as Kenne Bell propaganda makes them out to be. Kenne Bells number one goal is to push their product....that's what pays the bills! And they've shown on numerous occasions they're not above smack talking, or down playing a competitive companies product in order to do it. You can call it selling a superior product if you wish, but I see it more as creative (yet effective) sales tactics, with minimal regard for business ethics or accuracy, instead.
To answer your question: nobody has yet adapted a 03 cobra blower on a GT, it's just not worth it...
That's funny, because Ford though it was worthy enough to top off their breathing 4V engine situated in the Cobra. If anything, you'd want the larger blower on the engine more capable of moving the additional airflow, not the other way around. A couple of the Allen guys over on tccoa.com are seeing nearly 400rwhp and high-11's in a full weight, automatic, IRS equipped Thunderbirds with the use of the little GEN V M90 supercharger.....yet a more capable M112 isn't worth the effort? Something is flawed with your logic my friend and you need to straiten out your facts before you attempt to school me on the subject! The reason more aftermarket supercharger manufacturer weren't using M112's in their 2V kits wasn't because the effort "wasn't worth it". It was because the added cost, lesser availability and larger over all packaging associated with the M112 made the M90 a more feasible choice.
