How do I remove my driver side seatbelt???

Mine is "broken"..well the belt wont go back in.
Can a auto repair shop fix this or change seatbelt?
Or am I looking at something impossible and only available ina scrap yard and that no mechanic will touch?

I'd say any repair shop should be able to replace it. They could possible fix it too. Unaffortunately if you do need to replace it, you'd have to get a used unit either from a wrecking yard, a II parts supplier or other mustang II gurus like us who may have good used units.
