how do i take an injector apart

There is no way to disassemble an injector and have it useable when you are done. They are molded as one piece units.

As for cleaing them, there is a kit that feeds cleaner through the schrader valve. Connect it up, remove the fuel pump relay, and start the car. When the can finishes empting its contents, the car quits. Put the fuel pump relay back in are you are done. This is probably oversimplified, but close enough to understand how it works.

Some places will clean injectors for about $11 each + shipping. See http://www.cleaninjectors.com/ for more info

well these injectors will go on a 95 mustang v6 if they will work. something is very wrong with the car and it sucks gas like crazy. on my 95, obviously, the stock injectors are very clogged or possibly not the cause, unless 2 cans of B12 and 1 can of seafoam in the fuel tank did nothing for regaining my performance. my wife drove the car backward off a 7 foot dropoff into a bayou and only got the rear end of the car flooded, so i had to drop the fuel tank and it still acts up. i have not got to change the fuel filter yet but i put spare coilpack on it today since it has been having random cylinder misfireing way before the flooding. at first it made the car revv quicker but soon that fell over. the car runs alright if above half a tank of gas but once it gets to half and below it badly cuts out and will not go over 2300 rpm while floored. it sucks more fuel than my carbed 89. i hate my daily car.

you can put new pintle caps and o-rings on them.....that is about it (as JR et al, mentioned).

i think Napa might sell the cleaner that connects to the fuel rail - just what i read once.
good luck.
