How do I tap my oil pan?

im tapping my pan in the morning and i have the process figured out and the correct tools but im wondering if it would be advisable to put some removable strength loctite to seal the threads and lock it in place so it dont vibrate loose. ive seen black rtv, i wasnt sure about pipe tape but i think loctite is the answer?? anybody?

Loctite? I can't see how it would hurt. Use the oil resistant medium blue.

i didnt drill it cause when you drive the punch in and roll your metal in thats what you actually tap. either way i finished it, tapped it, installed the plug with red loctite and put a bead of jb weld arount the fitting and pan for extra insurance. its a jic fitting on the other end so i have a cap if i ever want to cap it off.
