I'm talking no mufflers with the stock h-pipe and headers. How would it sound? I was thinking of doing it for fun until I order my O/R x-pipe and SLP Loudmouths. I used to have it on my old Dakota 5.2L for a while, and it sounded really bad-ass. The 4.6s have a much better tone than those 318s, as well, so I would imagine that it would sound pretty bad-ass. Thanks for any help!

I disagree. It sounds mean. That was my setup when I got my car and I miss it sometimes.

It sounds similar to an offroad H and Magnapacks/Ultraflows/SLP-II's.

Ill post a clip in a second.

Speaking of the 3v, here's what it sounds like.

Pretty sick I think

Fobra, that sounded amazing. Had that old school muscle tone that I absolutely love. I really don't see why a 2V with a muffler delete would sound like ****. I'll just wait on Rubber's video and see for myself.

Rubber, that sounded pretty badass. So you have rear-exiting pipes all the way from the midpipe? I was just gonna do dumps after the mid.

Yup, they arent stock pipes though, but the stock ones will work.

I don't get what you mean.

If I remove the mufflers, I'm basically unbolting the catback and doing dumps from there. Did you buy extra piping to lead back from the midpipe, so you could have exiting tips from the rear?
