I got the screws out that are on the inner fender by the tire but what other bolts are there, there must be more b/c this things not moving at all w/ just those bolts out.....any help

also does anyone have any pics b/c when I look up under the bumper I see several bolts but not sure which goes to what  I dont have time to screw w/ it now b/c Im off to work but thanks for any help.

tryin to remember....i know there are 4 "clips" that go into the entire black headlight assembly that you need to push up on and pull out on the bumper at the same time. if you get a light under there, you will see what im talkin about. took me over an hour to figure it out but now, im sure i can get a bumper off in less than an hour.

you have 2 nuts on each side, besides the ones around the fender....reach up from under it to get those....10mm I think...

mine had 1 like tonque that slide in under the headlights as Haz mentioned...it can be a mother to get out and access...like he said, you have to push that tonque up from under the car and push or have the bumper pulled forward...i found them to be a mother coming off....going back ons a tad easier...They suck...

There will be 2 nuts holding the bumper on to each fender, just reach inside and take them off. I think you'll have to take thoes little black things that hang on the bottom sides of the bumper off as well, and there will be 3 or 5 plastic push in clips in the bottom middle of the bumper that hold it up. Once thoes are out, you'll have to take out the headlights and the actual bumper will have little clips on it that hold it in place on the headlight assembly... You'll see what I'm talking about once you get that far... Best way is to lay under the bumper, look up and you'll see them sticking out, there should be 2 on each side and mine where a yellowish white becaues they wernt painted. You'll have to push or pull thoes tabs down and have someone pull out on the bumper to get it off, just dont go crazy and try to pry the bumper off.

Two 8MM bolts by the horn assembly. A wrench ratchet works on the bottom bolts.

Inner fender wells need to be removed. Two 8MM nuts on the inside.

Remove the side markers. Two 8MM bolts that connect to the fenders.

One 8MM bolt right about the horse emblem.

All the plastic clips under the radiator come off.

It will slide right off after this. DO NOT remove the headlights.

Thanks Vib,that should help, Thank god I dont have to take the headlights out, I was dreading that :bang:

WTF IS THIS THING?????????

Damn now Im lost. If you look under the car directly under the radiator theres this Beam that runs along the legnth of the radiator, theres an extension that comes off from the bumper that and its secured to this beam but its not by a bolt or a screw, its just the round thing w/ a nub in the middle of it and its not hexed, how the hell do I get this off b/c theres one on each side of the bumper at the bottom where that beam runs. I guess its a rivit but how the hell do I get it off. Oh yeah and its metal :bang: :bang: :bang: This FING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give up I cant do this myself

That beam you refer to is not needed for removal. I made a mistake. Two 8MM bolts on each side of the horn assembly (two black box looking things in front of the rad).

My bottom of my bumper is rivited to that beam under the radiator. I have one bolt left to get out on the pass side fender, I had to take the mass air meter and filter out b/c it hangs down in my fender well and it was right in the way of those bolts. Theres one left thats soaking in PB Blaster b/c its on there to tight at the moment. Where is the bolt that you talked about by the running horse embelm on the front, I dont see one there  all the bolts I see hold the horse onto the bracket, nothing for the bumper

Oh yeah.....you dont have to take out the headlights either.

4 bolts on the inner fenders, 2 on each side

4 screws on the inner tire well, 2 on each side

2 black push down clips one each to the left and right of the horse embelem up where the bumper clips down obove the head lights.

2 Rivits on the bottom of the bumper along the brace that runs along the bottom of the radiator.

After those were off I tugged on it some and it came unsnapped from under the head lights and came right off
:nice:
