How do you get rid of swirl marks?

Get the buffering pad starter kit and the and the microfiber towel starter kit.

Now on the same site posted above, grab some POorboys Super swirl remover 2.5 and 1.

You'll also need some wax once you're done with the poorboys products (i'm using zaino, but feel free to use whatever you like. I've heard good things about the poorboys line of waxes and sealants).

Now head out to Lowes and pick up the porter cable 7424 random orbital buffer. Then point your car in the direction of your nearest pep boys and pick up a meguiars/mothers clay bar.


Now, wash the car.
Clay bar the car
wash car again.
dry car off
Now load up your porter cable with an orange cutting pad and some ssr 2.5. go over car with it.

buff off the leftover product with the microfiber towels you got and see how the swirls are. if theres some hazing, dont worry, ssr 1 will get out the hazing. if you still have bad swirls, try ssr 2.5 again.

now load up the porter cable with a white pad and go over it with ssr 1.

Buff off leftover residue with a microfiber towel

paint should be good to go and swirl free.

no apply your favorite wax (again, i'm using zaino, cause i have a boatload of it)

Now as the the "how" you do all this stuff, the autopia guide to detailing will go in depth on how to use the porter cable and apply product, etc....
