How do you get the stock tb and egr off!!!!!!

I'm putting the motor in sig together and cant get the damn stock tb off. I'm going with a 70 mm tb and egr but the reason i'm taking it off is to get the studs. i need them for the other tb and egr right? its on there pretty tight. I wondering if pb blaster would loosing things up a bit. The intake is off by the way. Thankz Jo

its more than likely on there with rtv or smething like that. mine was a pita to get off. get a screw driver and put it inbetween the egr spacer and intake and bang it with a hammer

Use a RUBBER HAMMER and tap it all the way around the TB,it should break loose in no time at all.

okay a rubber hammer and a screw driver. Alrighty then. Also what tool do i use to take the fuel lines a loose. Pulling motor need to disconnect.

you need a fuel line disconnect tool, they sell it at advance for a couple bucks. it works on a/c lines too

i had to heat up the egr spacer and wedge a screw driver in between it and the intake, after heating continuously and prying it came off revealing rusted studs.

WantaGT is right on...awhile back I was changing my intake and couldn't get the screws out that hold the plate on the top so I could get to the 2 long bolts inside. I rounded the heads off of every T-20 torx driver I had even while using Blaster. When all else failed, I took it for a 15-20 min.ride and got it hot. Opened the hood and presto, the screws came right out!
