How do you guys sell your cars so easily???

I should have just said how do you sell something you've become so attached to?? :(

Don't. I'm never selling mine. I've had this car since I bought it new. I wouldn't get anywhere near enough for it to make me feel like it was worth selling, ever.

As for the G35, why not just put a blower with a nice safe tune on your car.

Because i'd still be driving a Mustang. It's not that I hate Mustangs now, i just want something else to drive. I've driven nothing but Mustangs since I was 16 as daily drivers. They are nice cars and all, but i'm 26. Sometimes i feel out of place when i drive my mustang like when i go on dates and such. I want something a little more "mature" to drive around as a daily driver.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not leaving Mustangs at all. I still have my '88 5.0 which is pretty well modded. I have big plans for this car and a huge pile of mods that i've gathered up, so i will definitely still have the bug.

I just want a nice luxury car to drive around as a daily driver now. I even thought about buying a Terminator, but in the end, i think it's time for a change.

I had a hard time when letting go of both my previous Mustangs, but both times I was upgrading to something better. My mach that I have now, will never leave my possesion. As far as Mustangs being immature, I dont understand that statement. Look at the 05+ Stangs for instance, it seems like everyone driving those are 40+. I think the only thing that makes a Stang immature, is if your driving around with a way too loud exhaust, or 20+ inch rims.

As far as G35's are concerned, they are beautiful cars, & they perform very well. But they are boring to me, & I would never replace my Stang with 1. They are the baddest sounding V6 I have ever heard though, & they probably ride 100 times smoother. If you do get 1, please dont get silver or charcoal grey, because thats even more BORING on a G35.

I'm not saying you shouldn't, it's just that i've been preparing to sell my car and i just can't do it.

I won't get into my reasons for selling or what i'm selling it for, but for the last year i've been thinking of selling it and the last month i have decided to do it.

The problem is I just can't bring myself to taking off certain mods, officially putting it up for sale and watching punk tire-kickers come and abuse my car which i've never let anyone drive in the 3 years i've owned it. I also can't bear to see someone local buy it and abuse it as i've pampered it, washed and waxed and vacuumed the hell out of it every weekend to the point where it's clean as new.

I gotta do it, but i'm going to hate every minute of the process.

No i won't be replacing it with another Mustang. I have my '88 5.0 to play with. One Mustang is enough.

Don't let them drive your car. Take them around the block, open it up a little. When they come up with money in hand, then let them drive your car to make sure they want it 100%. When i went looking at cars i wouldn't even drive it unless i had the money and knew i really wanted it. When i do drive it, out of respect i never floor it. I just eas into it.

The GT??

For performance mods, an MGW shifter, flowmaster cat-back and 13" Mach 1 brakes. I also have brand new Potenza S-03 tires.

for appearance mods, the usual stuff. Chin spoiler, grill delete, SS inserts, bullitt pedals mach 1 shift knob, IUP silver center trim, etc. I also have Sat radio and an Ipod adapter hooked into the Mach 460.

Has 40K miles, no issues and i've done regular maintainence. I should just keep the car. It's paid off, reliable, looks good, gets attention and fun to drive.

See, I can't ever think like that... I just see the flaws with my car, the constant quest for perfection...basically that equals more money and more down time. I wish I was content, then I wouldn't want to sell it every time it pisses me off LOL...

I have no problem with selling my car, but the main problem has been that when it was on the market, I got 10 calls a day, 8 of them being from people thinking it was a Terminator and not understanding it was a GT with an IRS swap, blower, and full suspension. :nonono: If I could get 18k for it as it sits (with recent MM k-member, a-arms, etc), then I would go for it for sure.....probably go with another stang, but just keep it mild and focus my money elsewhere (i.e. bikes).
