Most of you guys have pulled your engines more then once. I was chatting with Low5.0 one day and he drops his tranny everytime. I was just wondering how the rest of you do it.

By myself i unbolt the trans cross member. I put a good floor jack between the legs of the cherry picker (engine lift) As i lift the whole engine & trans out i lower the body with the floor jack. Then to get the tail of the trans to clear the nose i lift it with my HANDS turning the whole trans/engine assembly sideways and pull the cherry picker away from the car.
Keep in mind ive also used this method to also install an engine/trans too. I don't get much help. A floor jack under the K member really helps.
With the motor supported by the lift grabbing the tail of the trans makes it very maneuverable.

To the people with long tubes:
Were there any problems installing the engine with the headers already on?
I've always heard to keep the headers in the car and then bolt them onto the engine once the engine is put back into the car...
nope, just make sure to unhook the steering shaft from the rack (1 bolt) and swing the shaft towards the fender out of the way.
OT 393 what fuel rails do you have?
all out at once...
