I stripped my distributer wrench that is bent so I can get in there and now I can't seem to get back at the screw to loosen my distributer for my timing.. What tool do you guys use to get at it? I can't seem to fit anything in there.

Any ideas?

I have a wrench that has a kinda Z shape so it will reach low, but I imagine a socket with that one swivel type attachment that will allow you to access a bolt from any angle would work too.

Yeah, mine was like a Z, but it stripped... :bang: Damn 'made in china' tools..
I tried a socket, tried a rachet, a wrench... nothing wants to fit..

I got a Dizzy Wrench

but honestly ........

I usually use a small box end wrench :D

I do not loosen or tighten the bolt with the motor running :nono:

I loosen it to where the dizzy will turn with a bit of effort
then
Bump the dizzy to set it.

That bolt will keep the dizzy stable when snug :)

It doesn't have to be ... really tight!

i bought a 1/2" 3/8 12pt swivel socket from sears years ago. that plus a small extension is all you need.
