How do you run a nitrous vent

I figure I need a bottle blowoff valve vent tube on my nitrous bottle, since it is in the hatch, so I ordered one today. More stuff they didn't mention....

Can someone tell me exactly how they routed theirs?

Does it just need to go through a hole in the hatch floor area?

It attaches to the saftey fitting, if you don't have one you need one...

Just goes to the outside somewhere, a hole in the hatch floor works fine, I like to use a rubber grommet.
