Im painting my interior (btw black pwns saddle) and you can seea little line of tan where the cover meets the dash on the pass side. So I need to take it off. And I also need to know how to take the drivers side airbag cover off. Thanks

Driver side you have to take the whole airbag out...make sure you turn your car off for 30 mins before doing it so it doesnt explode in your face...well there are two little caps on the each side of your steering wheel...they are round circles...you pop those off and then there is a bolt underneath them on both sides and you take the bolt out...then the airbag should come out but you have to disconnect the wiring to it.

Now the passenger is a bitch...i only somewhat know how to take if fully out since i forgot...you have to open your glove box and push the sides of the glove box in so it goes down fully...then behind all the crap this is up in that area the airbag is bolted to a bracket ( it might be one or two boltsnn....i dont remember) then you have to unplug the wires again on this side and it should slide out....the airbag cover is actually riveted onto the the console itself.

If I feel like ripping off my cover since it is velcroed on and i have to fix it anyway ill try to take some pictures of the brackets and such for you....right now its too dark.

i got bored and took the pictures:

Well this is the left sides of the steering wheel...

Right side....

Passenger side....See the two holes....those are where the bolts went into the back of the airbage...my bracket thing is a little bent from when the airbags exploded.
