I was under the car today doin some work on it up front, noticed how the radiator support was welded on... and that the welding was rather, well... bad, and looked like some rust under it, so that needs to get fixed... i'll be pulling the front apart when I get a couple days off to replace my header panel and to reinstall the front bumper in a more proper manner. Since it will be apart, is there anyway I can measure the frame to see if it is off?? Car drives straight, so I "assume" it is good, but I'd like to know for sure.
How do you tell if the frame is straight?

I would just grab a tape measure and start checking....diagonal measurements from given points should be the same. measurements for the floor to frame should be checked to...if its outta wack youll pick it up for sure....
Diagonals will tell you if its square or not...
How are the tires wearing??? scuffing would be a good sign too.
