Got an 87 with Mac headers, O/R Hpipe, flows, 4.10, K&N, UD pullies. Its runnin 9.20s in the 1/8th with radials. I know a guy wanting to sell a cobra intake dirt cheap. Can I use the intake without going to Mass air? What else can I do to get a little more outta this car before going to M/A? Thanks!!!!

Put the car on a diet. Drop some weight. What kind of suspension are your running?

The manifold will work OK with SD. SD cars are usually OK with mods as long as you don't do anything that affects the vacuum. That means lots of things work OK, like manifolds, heads, and throttle bodies.

All stock right now. Springs are cut though. As far as weight, fortuantly(sp?) this car has all manual stuff. No back seat either. Also has fiberglass hood. What else can I drop to loose some weight? I do drive the car quite a bit and I live in Tenn so loosing the air is not an option for me! So what do you suggest?? Thanks again!

u can do a lot with sd if you do some research first. www.50tech.com has some good sd info on it. I've even seen a supercharged 347 sd car in a magazine before.

Oh yeah, i noticed a big improvement. It seemed to pull harder after 2500RPM than before.

I meant it runs like stock in terms of drivability
