I'm buying a house in Canby OR. and I work in Beaverton. It's about 20-25 miles (Havn't clocked it) My parents think it's crazy to drive that far everyday, but I was wondering how far you guys drive?

If it is traffic-free 25 miles, then it probably won't be an issue. If its in a busy city with 3 hour traffic jams, then that could pose a problem

I drive about 7 miles one way in a semi rural area, and it isn't long at all.

I drive about 50 miles round trip. The drive is easy (I-5) and pretty quick. about 30 min's each way.

Best advice I can give you: get a credit card that pays you rewards (cash back or air miles) to use for your gas. Pay it off every month. Then use the rewards for a vacation.

My miles about 30 or so round trip. Time wise well with traffic 1/2 hour both ways. Without traffic 10-15 min both ways. My brother in law in ohio drove 1 1/2 hours one way everyday 5 days a week forever! If your driving in rush hour you will hate it! Alot of the guys at work drive from thats way and it takes them about 1/2 - 45 min each way. peace

Over 100 miles round trip.

It's been about 4 years of that.

The Cobra was a daily for a while, but I racked up a ton of miles on my GT. 24 - 72 in months it seemed.

five miles one way would be a stretch. I have not checked the distance. But I do know it takes five minutes if I go down the free way, and five and a half minutes if I drive through town.

I worked in Eugene for years though. It was a half hour trip one way. Its not bad once you get used to it.
