how fast vert guys?top speeds

i have a 94 vert and was wondering the stock top speed. Icurrently am running 3.73 and would like to know how this would affect it. I have had it up to 130-135 at about 4 grand.

i haven't gone over 110 in mine, but i'm sure it would go faster, especially after the turbo goes in.

my buddies stopped at 137 he also had four guys in the car as I passed him. I would never do it again though.

he had 2.73's and a 5 speed.

I was surprise when I took mine for its first high speed test. I had the top down and a buddy with me and it stopped at 125 and just wouldn't pull any more. Then, the next night with only myself in the car and the top up it got to 135. I think I had a few bolt ons at that point, but nothing much.

stock mine would run in the 135 range with the top up, with the mods on the needle goes right on by the 150 mark like it wasn't even there

Ever wonder about the aerodynamics of a car with a cloth top at high speeds? I kind of do. I also enjoy driving it too much (not to mention the wife and kids and all other good stuff in life) to take it over 100. I had it up to 110 or 115 once, once.

There are just too many things that can go wrong on a 10 year old car (no matter how well its maintained) to risk doing something that crazy.
