So i im buyinh the Eibach Pro Damper kit which inludes the springs shocks/ struts. Just to make things perfect im also getting the maximum motorsports caster/camber plates. Is this a do-it-yourself job? Ive been reading the reviews on the products and its very mixed. ill have all the tools needed but im not too experienced, If most would advise against DIY then how much am i looking at paying a shop to do it all at the same time? Any advice is much appreciated thank you.

The job is relatively easy for someone with decent mechanical skills. It is actually much easier if you are getting the entire spring/strut assemblies because you don't have to mess with dissassembling /reassembling the struts. You need a floor jack, jack stands a decent metric socket set, and possibly the bottle jack from your car (to lift/lower the control arm to get the struts into place).

I installed my FRPP suspension in about 3 hours by myself with hand tools, and that included disassembling/reassembling the struts.....

You definately need to go directly to an alignment shop after you get done though, so have the appointment set up ahead of time.

V6 options

Hey I got my 2006 v6 in March 2010, and have been looking at numerous things to put into the car; and I know a small amount about engine work and thats it nothing special. Just wondering what would be the first steps I could take in getting more performance all around out of my v6. As appearance goes I was also looking at getting the GT Fog Lamps for the front grill, but not sure if the GT grill will fit on my V6???
