How hot does the INSIDE (cabin area) of our floors or trans tunnel get?

I am guessing 110* typical? Its shielded from the sun on hot days and cooled while we are driving..any guesses? I'll esplain why I a masking later. Thanks.

With longtubes, hot enough that after 45mins of driving you can burn your feet on the floor without shoes/socks.

Evne with shorties, pretty freaking hot... In the summer I can feel heat pouring out of my console where the ebrake handle goes... If I had to guess, the floor itseld is at least 150'F...

never actually tested it but "freakin' hot" degrees Fahrenheit is my guess. don't ask me what that converts to in Celsius for you canadians...

Lining your trans tunnel with heat reflective sound deadner will help a lot.

it gets really hot after i installed my tko i noticed it alot the tranny is larger then the t5 so it sits closer to the car i need to put some heat sheilding in the trans tunnel but need to take down the tranny to big of a job now..

Right now with my G-force it does not get considerably hot. The ONLY place it does is right under the dash in the front part of the trans tunnel. I have no problem putting my feet or hands on the floor and I dont feel any significant heat in the pass or dr side front seats. Accufab must have done a great job with my headers as they hug the trans tunnel but with enuf space that it dont get very hot at all. The other part that gets warm is the pass side floor UNDER the front seat in parts, but thats it. Rear floor boards and under rear seats not hot at all.

Celcius = "Fahrenheit Freakin Hot" - 32 x 5/9

Mine gets pretty hot with long tubes.

did you ever actually measure the temp when you were installing your stuff?

No I dont have an infared or anything, I can only tell you based on touching it. Anyway, my car will be different from anyone else's for the above reasons. I can tell you there is a SIGNIFICANT reduction in heat coming thru the ebrake handle now...like NO heat, lol. Lining it with fatmat and the new carpeting killed it, even in 90*.
