I love my wife's red interior but I had to ditch the red floor mats as they were over kill. I picked up some black FORD Racing ones at Advanced Auto $26.
i have the dark charcoal on my black gt. if i were to buy the car in 06, i would probably get the light gray. it looks a little more "classy". i love the black/black look though, but it does get hot inside. the light gray sets off the interior better than the red accents, QUOTE]
I wish that Ford had gotten smart and gone with a Gray and Balck two tone interior like the Red & Black.
I wanted a light color for my vert, and the tan dosen't show the considerable dust that gets all over the inside if you spend a few hours crusing through the country side.
WHY can't the Auto Makers put nice color matching upholstery in todays cars. Brown (tan) gray seem to be their answer no matter what color the exterior paint is. I remember the 50-60 era of colors. To me there is nothing now that is really eye catching. Sure the Dark Charcoal/ Red combination is nice and sporty, the light gray goes well with black and a few other colors, but why not a blue interior in a blue car, a red in a red car. Guess I am getting old.. Anyone for banding together and letting Mustang mfgs., know what we want?? IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME....
