How involved is it to install a Mark VIII fan on our cars??

My 331 has a hard time keeping cool in hot weather so im thinking of puting on this Mark VIII fan a friend has, is it a direct drop in on the radiator? how much fabrication is needed to make it work? is it easy to wire it up?

I thought people used that fan on Fox's....whats the difference between that and ours?

i know the fox radiator's bigger than ours.. and they don't have a mechanical fan?

You will very likely have clearance issues. The biggie with the Mark VIII is that it's thick, even if you slice the shroud down.

A Viper fan is a little slimmer IIRC, and it flows like a beast.

BTW, they will all require fabrication.
