I need to know how many brackets there are for a Vortech, and where they go. I also need to know what hold the alternator down below the blower, is it just a small steel bracket??

If anyone has pics of anything please post them!

Brackets:
*accessory backing plate (mounts all accessories on pass. side) (like a mini version of the stock accessory bracket)
*accessory front plate (holds blower head - it is flat with a big curved arm on the right side)
*drive belt tensioner mount (kinda looks like an igloo. a little square on one side, and a little leg on the other.)
*blower belt tensioner mount (odd-shaped, has two areas that are adjustable tension bolt holes, kind of making a semi-circle shape)

The "Alternator Stay" is a piece of curved metal that comes bolts in between the alternator and the main acc. bracket to keep it in place. You can rig something up to work, otherwise I doubt you will find that piece anywhere else.

Are you looking at a used kit, trying to see if everything is there?

Yes and no. I might get a used kit, If not piece it together (especially if a use kit is not complete)

I found an alternator stay thing, so I'll proabably grab that now while I can since it seems like a piece that can be lost easily....

Do you (or anyone) know if an A-trim will fit S-trim brackets, and vice-versa? I see a mostly S-trim brackets and stuff, so if i get one it has to be interchangeable because I might upgrade to an S-trim later on....

they're the same. The only difference between the kits are the impeller on the head unit, and the S trim kit comes with fuel upgrades & boost retard.

The alt stay bracket won't work if you aren't running the smog or delete pulley kit for it. So if you're not running those , don't bother getting the stay bracket. I just bought chrome alt bracket at the parts store and mounted to a hole in the blower front plate bracket and to the alt.

you're welcome. i don't have any pics of the install, i deleted them all after showing them on SN last year.

the stock pulley system is 6 rib.
