How many ohms is a fox fuel sender?

ok, im looking into an auto meter fuel gauge cuz mine is all jacked up and when looking at the gauges on the site it says like range:0 ohms empty/90 ohms full..wtf does that mean? Heres the site

You want the 4418. 16 ohms empty, 158 ohms full. The fuel level sender is nothing more than a wiper potentiometer, and the gauge is just a glorified ohm meter.

Yes. That's why they have different ohm ranges to work with all different types of senders. The 16/158 gauge is calibrated to work with the output of the stock sender.
