How many qts. of tranny fluid for 2000 Auto Gt?

How many qts. of tranny fluid does the 2000 Automatic GT take? I just got my tranny serviced today (complete tranny power flush) @ 50k. It's never been replaced since new. After getting my car back from Ford, I'm looking at the reciept and noticed that they refilled with 10 qts. My manual states that it takes 12.8 qts. I didn't notice until now. I think they are closed now. I have to wait and talk to them tomorrow. Just wanted your thoughts before I jump into any conclusion.

BTW - I paid $160. Is that a reasonable price especially having it done @ Ford. The price came unexpectedly. I was thinking @ $80 - $120 for the service.

next time just go to jiffy lube. you can get ATF for 7 bucks a quart or less.. and they just charge 20-25 to fill it and change the filter.

Only 10 qts.?? .... sounds like they didn't drain the converter then ... I'm not sure if your '00 has a drain plug in the converter or not, mine does. When I did my shift kit (I also have a cooler too) the converter was drained and I think I used in the neighborhood of 13-14 qts. to top it off.
