Hey guys thought Id make a cool thread on Compression ratio's and how far a you can push the block, and piston to valve clearance can hold and on pump gas. Id like to keep it about a stock motor and pump gas but hell, anything goes.

so...
what did you get you 302 compression ratio to?
How was it accomplished? (heads, chambers, pistons, milling)
valve relif's?
cam spec (if you want)
How much compression would you run on pump gas?
And anything else you wanna add

Static Compression, 11.3:1, 347ci, 4cc flat top pistons, small chamber heads, cam is critical

I try to keep customers around 10.8:1 max on 92-93 octane pump gas.

I'm running Sealed Power Speed-Pro Powerforged Pistons .040 overbore with Trick Flow heads milled down to bring the compression to 10.75:1. For now I've got an X303 cam (hopefully changing soon ). No issues running 93 octane but I haven't tried turning up the timing at all
